# My computer does not appear — PPTControl

Check the apps and Bluetooth, or connect with a QR code.

## Check both devices

- Open **PPTControl Desktop** on your computer and keep it running.
- Turn on **Bluetooth on both devices** and keep them nearby.

Look for the computer **inside PPTControl**, not in the system Bluetooth settings.

## Connect with a QR code

Your computer does not need to appear in the device list.

- Connect both devices to the **same Wi-Fi** or **your phone’s hotspot**.
- In the desktop menu, choose **Show Pairing QR Code**.
- In PPTControl on your phone, tap **Scan QR Code** and scan it.
- **Approve the request** on your computer if it appears.
