# Adjust the controls, screen & brightness — PPTControl

Choose a layout and keep the screen comfortable to read.

## 1. Choose your control layout

- Open **PPTControl → Settings → Customize Control Page**.
- Choose **Modern** or **Classic**. Use the preview to see the layout.
- With Pro, choose whether notes should open by default. Return to the control screen to try it.

## 2. Keep the screen visible

- In PPTControl, open **Settings → Display**.
- Enable **Keep screen on** so the phone stays awake on the control screen.
- For presentation brightness, turn on **Adjust Brightness** and move the slider. Test the brightness in the room.

Keeping the screen on uses more battery. Charge the phone before a long presentation.
