# Use Google Slides — PPTControl

Basic slide controls on Windows and Mac.

## 1. Start Google Slides on the computer

- In PPTControl Desktop, choose **Google Slides** as the presentation app.
- Open your deck in the computer’s browser and start its **slideshow**.
- **Click the slideshow window** so it receives keyboard input.
- Connect your phone and test the **right arrow**.

## 2. Know the feature limits

- **Basic slide controls:** available on Windows and Mac.
- **Speaker notes and slide previews:** not supported for Google Slides, including with Pro.
- **PowerPoint for the web:** not a supported PowerPoint integration.

For notes and previews, use **PowerPoint desktop** or **Keynote on Mac**. If Google Slides stops responding, check that its slideshow is still in front.
