# Use mouse control & the laser pointer — PPTControl

Original guide: https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=pointer

Move the computer cursor from your phone with Pro.

## 1. Open mouse control

- Connect to your computer and start the slideshow.
- On the control screen, tap the **cursor button at the bottom-right**. Pro is required.
- **Drag** across the touch area to move the cursor. **Tap** for a left click; **hold** for a right click.

Adjust **Sensitivity** if the cursor moves too quickly or slowly. Tap **Done** to return to the slide buttons.

## 2. Turn on the laser pointer

In **PPTControl → Settings**, enable **Show laser pointer in mouse mode**. Return to the presentation and open mouse control again.

The pointer appearance depends on the presentation app and slideshow mode.

## 3. If the cursor does not move

- **Test a slide button first.** [If that also fails, check presentation control →](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=no-control)
- **Mac:** [allow Device Control and Data Access (Accessibility on earlier macOS versions)](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=mac-permissions#step-1).
- **Windows:** a managed-computer policy or security software may block input. [Check permissions and test →](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=no-control#step-3) Ask your IT team if needed.

Keep a supported presentation app’s slideshow in front.
