# Privacy, offline use & presentation data — PPTControl

Your presentation is handled locally between your devices.

## Your presentation stays on your devices

- **Local exchange:** presentation commands, notes, and slide images travel between your devices. PPTControl does not upload your presentation to its servers.
- **No PPTControl account:** connect your own devices directly.
- **Offline control:** Bluetooth can change slides without internet. Previews need a local network, which does not have to provide internet.

Downloads, store purchases, and update checks use internet services. [Other apps may use mobile data while connected to a hotspot](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=hotspot).

## You choose what to share with support

**Contact Support** prepares device/app diagnostics and, when available, a support attachment. Review them before sharing. Diagnostics are not automatically sent.

Remove private information from screenshots and sample decks. Only share attachments you are comfortable sending.
