Original guide: https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=speaker-notes

See your PowerPoint or Keynote notes on your phone with Pro.

## 1. Prepare your notes

### Open your deck

Use **PowerPoint desktop** on Windows/Mac or **Keynote** on Mac.

### Add speaker notes

Add notes to the slides in your presentation app.

### Choose the presentation app

Select the matching **Presenter App** in PPTControl Desktop and start the slideshow.

Google Slides and PowerPoint for the web do not provide notes to PPTControl.

## 2. Show notes on your phone

- Connect your phone and [unlock Pro](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=pro).
- On the control screen, tap the **speech-bubble button at the top** to show notes. Tap it again to hide them.
- Change slides with the arrow buttons. The notes follow the current slide.

Scroll long notes on the phone. Your audience continues to see the presentation on the computer.

## 3. If notes are missing

- **“No notes for this slide”:** check that the current slide has notes in the presentation app.
- **Basic control active?** Notes require a detected PowerPoint or Keynote slideshow. [Check presentation control →](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=no-control)
- **On Mac:** [allow Automation for PowerPoint or Keynote](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=mac-permissions#step-3).
- **Still empty?** [Update both apps](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=downloads) and reconnect with the slideshow running.

Notes can work over Bluetooth. [Slide images separately need a local network](https://pptcontrol.app/Help?guide=wifi).
