Use Google Slides

Basic slide controls on Windows and Mac.

1. Start Google Slides on the computer

  1. In PPTControl Desktop, choose Google Slides as the presentation app.
  2. Open your deck in the computer’s browser and start its slideshow.
  3. Click the slideshow window so it receives keyboard input.
  4. Connect your phone and test the right arrow.

2. Know the feature limits

  • Basic slide controls: available on Windows and Mac.
  • Speaker notes and slide previews: not supported for Google Slides, including with Pro.
  • PowerPoint for the web: not a supported PowerPoint integration.

For notes and previews, use PowerPoint desktop or Keynote on Mac. If Google Slides stops responding, check that its slideshow is still in front.
